RATES

• We do not provide binding estimates for our moves. We use hourly and distance rates because the length of time for a move is influenced by conditions that vary from move to move and cannot always be accurately predicted in advance of any given move, even in cases where one of our Moving Consultants has physically visited the site.
• Variable conditions include degree of customer preparedness, van access, carrying distance, location of furniture within the house, ease or difficulty of movement through levels and doorways, number of floor levels, size and type of furniture, weather conditions, etc.
• Furniture from a fully prepared home with good access is moved much more quickly than from a home in which the customers have not finished packing, or from a home that cannot be properly accessed by the truck.
• The customer can speed up the move and decrease the cost. For example, if the beds are taken apart and reassembled by the customer, a few minutes can be saved on the cost of the move.
• The hourly rate includes our qualified moving crew and a furniture van equipped with a variety of high quality blankets, dollies, straps and tools necessary to safely complete your move.

• For certain moves, we will be happy to have one of our Moving Consultants visit your site to help determine and evaluate your moving needs, free of charge.
• Your Consultant will present a range of insurance options, describe how we would conduct the move, and explain the method of calculating your costs.
